Pumpkin Patch BINGO Game for Preschoolers

This is the time of year that pumpkins are everywhere. They're in every store. Pumpkin patches are popping up all around town. Little ones will love exploring pumpkins - inside and out. Afterward, sit them down to play a rousing game or two of Pumpkin Patch Bingo.

Pumpkin Patch Bingo

This low-prep activity is perfect for your autumn homeschool preschool activities. All you need to do is print out the bingo cards and game boards. Laminate the cards and boards for durability. Cut apart the bingo cards.

How to Play

3 or More Players: Have children take turns being the "caller." This player will flip over the Bingo cards. The rest of the players will search for the corresponding image on their Bingo card and cover it with a marker (mini eraser, button, or penny). Keep playing until one player covers the entire Bingo board.

2 Players: Have children take turns flipping over the Bingo cards. Continue playing as described above. Play continues until one child covers his or her Bingo board.

What They're Learning

When kids play Pumpkin Patch Bingo, they're not just playing a game. They're learning, as well. They're learning how to take turns and how to work together (choosing a "caller" for instance).

Preschoolers will work on their visual discrimination skills as they search for the correct image. Some of the images on these cards are similar, and kids will need to search for the right one.

Valentine's Day Number Sense Games

We are deep in the throes of winter, and we're starting to look forward to Valentine's Day. If you're looking forward to Valentine's Day with your tots and preschoolers, I've got a great activity for you to add to your math center.

re starting to look forward to Valentine Valentine's Day Number Sense Games

Valentine's Day Numbers Game

This no-prep activity is perfect for your homeschool preschool activities. All you need to do is print the pages out. Then, your preschoolers are ready for some Valentine's Day math fun.

How to Use the Pages

I suggest printing the pages on cardstock and laminating for durability. There are six different number boards to choose from. If you have children at various learning levels, they can play the game together using different number boards. Or, you can have your child progress through each board as they become more comfortable with numbers and counting from one to six. Have students roll a die and count the dots. Then, using a counter (mini erasers, buttons, Valentine's Day conversation hearts), identify the correct number on the game board.

What's Included

The Valentine's Day number game boards vary in difficulty and skill. On the six game boards, you'll find the following:
  • standard numerals
  • colorful number clipart
  • dot patterns
  • counting fingers
  • tally marks
  • ten frames
Choose the one that best fits your child's needs, and have fun! This can be played independently or in pairs. If a pair of kids is playing, the first child to cover four squares in a row is the winner.

Apple Bingo

Summer is in full swing, but autumn will be here before you know it! It's time to start planning your apple-themed preschool activities. Little ones will love playing a rousing game of Apple Bingo. This game can be played as a group, of course, but it can also be played independently.

but autumn will be here before you know it Apple Bingo

This activity is perfect for your back to school, autumn, and apple-themed homeschool preschool activities. This no-prep activity pack is perfect for preschoolers. Just print, laminate, and go!

The Apple Bingo pack includes six bingo cards and one sheet of calling cards. I suggest printing on cardstock and laminating for durability. This will help your activity pack last longer.

Apple Bingo Game

Did you know that playing bingo helps little ones build skills? So, not only is it a fun game to play, but it's a great teaching tool, as well.

Bingo games help children build their visual discrimination skills. In this particular game, kids need to determine whether they're looking for a girl or a boy, a red apple or a green one, a whole apple or a bitten apple. Little ones work on hand-eye coordination as they look at the card drawn, find the match on their bingo board, and mark the square with a marker.

This apple-themed bingo game is perfect for your autumn homeschool preschool lessons. Add it to your back-to-school activities, your apple themed units, or any of your autumn-themed lessons.

With six bingo boards, this is the perfect activity for groups. It can also be played independently. Have kids choose two bingo cards. Turn the bingo cards upside down. Choose a card, mark the bingo boards, and see which board fills up first.

Christmas Alphabet Bingo Game

Preschool and kindergarten kids will love this fun Christmas themed Bingo Game! Looking for a fun way to review alphabet identification? These mats will have kids identifying and naming the letters on their mats along with the cards. They will then mark the letters on their mats and race to finish first!
Preschool and kindergarten kids will love this fun Christmas themed Bingo Game Christmas Alphabet Bingo Game

Print as many mats as you need for the number of students in your class – You can print these mats 2 per page so that way you can cut them up and save paper OR you could laminate them and have the kids use dry erase markers on the mats. There are 4 uppercase letter mats and 4 lowercase letter mats along with alphabet upper and lowercase cards.

Christmas Alphabet Bingo Mats

Use these mats to help kids develop letter identification skills as well as letter sounds. I would introduce this activity to the kids by demonstrating how to ‘win’ a Bingo mat. Start by choosing a random card from the letter cards, identifying the letter (i.e: lowercase letter g) and finding it on the mat. When you look for the letter, be sure to identify it by saying the letter on the mat (i.e: here is ‘h’ and here is the letter ‘g’) mark it with a dry erase marker, a coloured chip or coloured crayons if the mat is printed on paper. As an extension activity, you could have the kids working on lowercase cards letter cards and the uppercase Bingo Mat.
This game can also be played as a group, each member in the group will have a go at choosing a random letter card and then identifying the letter on their mat. If you choose to have the kids working in a group, print and laminate the mats on a large A4 or A3 sized poster paper.
