Humpty Dumpty Printable Cut & Paste Activity

Humpty Dumpty is one of my children's favorite nursery rhymes. But they always get a little sad after the last verse when all the king's horses and men couldn't put Humpty together again. So I thought it would be fun to create a free printable activity to help them put Humpty together again!

This FREE Printable activity includes an egg cracked into 4 pieces, as well as Humpty's face, pants, arms, legs, bow tie and hat. Children can cut out all the parts and paste them onto another sheet of paper to make Humpty Dumpty!

For toddlers I always recommend to laminate all the pieces in order to have a reusable activity that they can do over and over again!

Here is how the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme goes:

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

This Little Piggy Sequencing

This Little Piggy is a rhyme that I've recited to my kids since they were babies, playing with their little fingers and toes. Since most kids know the rhyme so well, it is perfect for practicing sequencing.

The "Old Lady Who Swallowed" series of books are fun and silly stories that kids enjoy. Based on the nursery rhyme where an old lady swallowed a fly, the series has expanded to seasonal and holiday themes in which she swallows a pie, a bat, a bell, leaves, snow and more. I've created a set of matching and sequencing printables for kids to use while following along with these stories.

Matching

The matching activities are great for toddlers. The images are in color and they are in random order, for the child to match as they listen to the story.

Sequencing

The sequencing activities are great for preschoolers and kindergartners. The sheets are in black and white and the child can cut out the pictures and glue them to their correct place in sequential order. They can also color the pictures.

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed Printable Activity

My kids love to jump on the bed and hear me shouting "no more monkeys jumping on the bed!" like the angry mommy monkey with curlers in her hair. If your kids like the 5 Little Monkeys nursery rhyme too, they will love this free printable.

This FREE 5 Little Monkeys activity is great for counting, number recognition, and one-to-one correspondence. It also comes with number words for children learning to read.

I recommend that you laminate and use velcro dots to stick the pieces.

The way that I play this game with my kids is we stick all the monkeys on the bed and place the number 5 in the box. Then we start singing the song and remove one monkey one by one (as they fall off the bed) while changing the number cards, until there are zero monkeys left.
